Abstract: In 2009 the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) issued IFRS for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). According to Deloitte (2012), more than 50% of Fortune Global 500 companies use IFRS for financial disclosure. The IASB believes that 95% of companies in the world are SME’s. Aware of the need to disclose this, the Board had created less complicated rules. IFRS for SMEs represent a simple choice compared to IFRS issued to multinational and public companies. Current literature shows studies related to the adoption of IFRS for SMEs in the US and in countries that are currently in the process of adopting them. It is pertinent to study the usefulness of these rules. To contribute to the literature, in addition to studying the background, the article presents a comparative analysis of countries that use IFRS for public companies and their adoption status of IFRS for SMEs. A comparison of IFRS for Multinational Enterprises and the IFRS for PYMES is relevant in relation to the complexity of issues that have been excluded from the latter. The study suggests ideas for future academic research in thearea of accounting. Tutorial strategies are described in a group of five Indigenous students of the School of Chemical Pharmacobiology with the intention of demonstrating the effectiveness of tutorial support. Only 1% of all students in higher level colleges or universities that require high school as pre-requirement is ethnic (ANUIES, 2002). Interest in the issue has been the reason why ANUIES such as the Ford Foundation convened universities to form a support program for indigenous students. The methodology is focused on practical action research. It comprises a multi-stage development, with information obtained from direct work with indigenous students who applied interviews, SWOT analysis, clinical analysis, multiple intelligences test and study skills. Based on the results, reinforcement strategies were applied, identifying weak points resulting in improved academic achievement, ending reprobation, lag the attrition and successfully completing college. This study also corroborates tecnological media efectiveness to advertise Guaymas harbour as a tourist destination. Guaymas has been promoted as a tourist destination and as a sun and beach destination since 1945. In that regard, we recognize the economic importance of tourism to the port and we are aware that demands for destinations and their promotions are closely related. However, we do not know the approach which has guided such promotion. Therefore this research identifies the relationship between natural and cultural heritage and tourist promotion. Tourist attractions in Guaymas were categorized by mean of a descriptive analysis. Survey participants considered the historic buildings and beaches as the Port’s main attractions which motivate the demand of the Port as a tourist destination. Nevertheless, the focus group pointed out the lack of promotion in all respects, mainly by the government.
