This requires organizational change, strategies and actions to create synergies between different stakeholders within the institution and with agents in the environment. This paper shows the perception of social responsibility from the perspective of teachers and students of the at the Autonomous University of Coahuila (UAdeC). The methodology used are tools developed by the IDB Latin American univer\sities on diagnostic effectiveness of the relationship between the university and society. We applied questionnaires in two related areas: organizational and educational in Saltillo Unit FCA, as the first phase of the overall research project. The data obtained were processed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results show, from a quantitative perspective, of perceptions of teachers, students and administrative staff address both aspects of MSW in the mission, strategy and actions of the organization and in the field of training students. The results serve as input to establish institutional commitment, identify actions in the short and medium-term strategic objectives and the development of indicators to measure the effectiveness of college socially responsible action Classification-JEL: I23 Keywords: University Social Responsibility, Organizational Level, Education Level Journal:Revista Global de Negocios Pages: 1-19 Volume: 4 Issue: 1 Year: 2016 File-URL: http://www.theibfr2.com/RePEc/ibf/rgnego/rgn-v4n1-2016/RGN-V4N1-2016-1.pdf File-Format: Application/pdf Handle: RePEc:ibf:rgnego:v:4:y:2016:i:1:p:1-19 Template-Type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: Elizabeth Eugenia Diaz Castellanos Author-Name: Carlos Diaz Ramos Author-Name: Luis Alberto Barroso Moreno Author-Name: Beatriz Pico Gonzalez Title: EMPIRICAL STUDY FOR THE VALIDATION OF A MATHEMATICAL MODEL TO MEASURE CORPORATE PERFORMANCE IN MANUFACTURING, ESTUDIO EMPIRICO PARA LA VALIDACION DE UN MODELO MATEMATICO QUE MIDE EL DESEMPENO CORPORATIVO EN INDUSTRIAS MANUFACTURERAS Abstract: In recent years there have been various concepts of improvement initiatives that promise results through superior performance. They create value for the organization. For this reason there has been increased interest in studying the process of implementing improvement strategies in organizations; Improvement strategies lead companies to align their strategies with performance indicators. However, there is little in the literature about how to optimize correlational models, i.e. models involving multiple variables simultaneously. The main purpose of this paper is to identify corresponding weights for the construction of a mathematical model capable of measuring corporate performance in manufacturing firms. We also compare the results obtained by applying multivariate statistical techniques to validate the model. Results show validity of the mathematical model was obtained, which makes possible its application in manufacturing enterprises Classification-JEL: C38, M15 Keywords: Delphi Method, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), Multivariate Statistical Techniques Journal:Revista Global de Negocios Pages: 21-33 Volume: 4 Issue: 1 Year: 2016 File-URL: http://www.theibfr2.com/RePEc/ibf/rgnego/rgn-v4n1-2016/RGN-V4N1-2016-2.pdf File-Format: Application/pdf Handle: RePEc:ibf:rgnego:v:4:y:2016:i:1:p:21-33 Template-Type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: Marisela Vargas Salgado Author-Name: Aurora Irma Maynez Guaderrama Author-Name: Judith Cavazos Arroyo Author-Name: Laura Elizabeth Cervantes Benavides Title: CONTENT VALIDITY OF A MEASURING INSTRUMENT FOR TRANSFORMATIONALLEADERSHIP Abstract: Organizational success relies not only on leaders but also on the integration into working teams of job participants. This paper is a non-experimental descriptive study based on Lawshe (1975) with modifications from Tristan (2008) to validate the content for Transformational leadership measuring instrument. With help from a group integrated by seven experts who independently evaluated content and belonging for each item considered. The evaluation criteria was split into essential, useful but not essential and non-essential categories. The results were as follows: maximum value on the content validity reason was 0.8751 and the minimum value result was 0.2857 for the content validity of 0.75 which exceeds the minimum cut value of 0.58. This result indicates that the measuring instrument is acceptable Classification-JEL: M10, M12 Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Content Validity Journal:Revista Global de Negocios Pages: 35-45 Volume: 4 Issue: 1 Year: 2016 File-URL: http://www.theibfr2.com/RePEc/ibf/rgnego/rgn-v4n1-2016/RGN-V4N1-2016-3.pdf File-Format: Application/pdf Handle: RePEc:ibf:rgnego:v:4:y:2016:i:1:p:35-45 Template-Type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: Lino Meraz Ruiz Author-Name: Sonia Elizabeth Maldonado Radillo Title: INFLUENCE OF WINE TOURISM IN THE COMPETITIVENESS OF MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED WINERIES IN GUADALUPE VALLEY, B. C., MEXICO, INFLUENCIA DE LA OFERTA DE ACTIVIDADES DE ENOTURISMO EN LA COMPETITIVIDAD DE LAS MICRO, PEQUENAS Y MEDIANAS VINICOLAS DE LA RUTA DEL VINO DEL VALLE DE GUADALUPE, B. C., MEXICO, Abstract: This study is a descriptive-correlational, non-experimental design, which follows a mixed model: qualitative-quantitative. The objective is to describe how the offer of wine in tourism activities correlates with the competitiveness of micro, small and medium wineries of the Wine Route of Valle de Guadalupe, in Baja California. The methodological strategy was based on three stages: a) the first was a rigorous selection of the sample for the study; b) second, we designed a measuring instrument for collecting information; and, c) finally, we carried out the data processing and interpretation through statistical tests and content analysis and correlation. We observe weak positive correlation with Spearman (r) coefficient of 0.126 with a significance level of 0.398 between the variables. As a result, we reject the hypothesis, leaving open the possibility for future research on the subject of wine tourism Classification-JEL: C12 Keywords: Wine Tourism, Competitiveness, Valle de Guadalupe, B.C. The idea is to to correct deep-rooted tax-evasion behaviors that have been continuously present in a great number of individuals to evade their duties with the State. We analyze if tax-based culture is essential in the curricular structure of the educational program of State University of Sonora’s international trade major. We wish to calcify that there are multiple agents in their campus for the strengthening and growth of a better tax-based culture in the country. It is desired that students understand the existence of a tax-based culture and the existence of multiple agents in their campus to show the importance of taxation. We suggest that the University, should include teaching programs in tax-based culture to enhance the values internal revue in students. The methodology was composed of a questionnaire application descriptive to two hundred and thirty-six students. The conclusions reached were absence of tax-based culture in more than half the University population and no formal education in this matter is given in the school classes Classification-JEL: D31, D33, D73 Keywords: Tax Culture, Student University, Tax Journal:Revista Global de Negocios Pages: 61-76 Volume: 4 Issue: 1 Year: 2016 File-URL: http://www.theibfr2.com/RePEc/ibf/rgnego/rgn-v4n1-2016/RGN-V4N1-2016-5.pdf File-Format: Application/pdf Handle: RePEc:ibf:rgnego:v:4:y:2016:i:1:p:61-76 Template-Type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: Rafael Antonio Munoz Aguilar Author-Name: Santiago Roldan Zuluaga Title: COMPETITIVENESS AND SUPPLY CHAIN IN THE PRODUCTIVE SECTOR OF VALLE DEL CAUCA, COLOMBIA,COMPETITIVIDAD Y CADENAS DE ABASTECIMIENTO EN EL SECTOR PRODUCTIVO DEL VALLE DEL CAUCA, COLOMBIA Abstract: Modern commercial dynamics implies constantly evaluation of models not only for negotiation, but distribution of the stock production. It involves establishing a categorical importance to logistics processes of supply and physical distribution, either at the national or international level. This research aims to characterize and visualize main processes or nodes that articulate the supply chain productive sectors of Valle del Cauca. We correlate this with obtaining competitive advantages in these sectors. From this perspective we observe that logistics remains an operational process of instrumentation supply or distribution. It is an active part of commercial positioning strategies of companies as well as a key element to reduce costs in the technological structure of the productive sector Classification-JEL: M15, M16, M19 Keywords: Supply Chain, Logistics, Production Strategies, Competitiveness and Competitive Advantage Journal:Revista Global de Negocios Pages: 77-87 Volume: 4 Issue: 1 Year: 2016 File-URL: http://www.theibfr2.com/RePEc/ibf/rgnego/rgn-v4n1-2016/RGN-V4N1-2016-6.pdf File-Format: Application/pdf Handle: RePEc:ibf:rgnego:v:4:y:2016:i:1:p:77-87 Template-Type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: Jesus Gomez-Velazquez Author-Name: Elizabeth Robles Maldonado Author-Name: Rosa Maria Velazquez-Sanchez Author-Name: Abel Antonio Morales Santiago Title: TOURISM COMPANIES IN ANONYMOUS AND ITS PERMANENCY INDICATORS IN PUERTO RICO, EMPRESAS TURISTICAS EN EL ANONIMATO Y SUS INDICADORES DE PERMANENCIA EN PUERTO RICO Abstract: In the 1970's tourism in Puerto Rico was characterized by offering sun and beach destinations. Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) emerged creating many tourist establishments. These establishments have existed for over thirty years. Great Tourism is observed because it is modernized and acquires new technologies. Traditional Tourism sustains his tenure with classic service. This research identifies and evaluates indicators of persistence in the traditional hotel category in Puerto Rico. We conduct semistructured interviews with managers of eight hotels in four areas of the island. The variables examined included standard hotel management, preference items and intent of new visits. The results showed that service aspects, adaptation to new technologies and classical tourism elements form a balance to explain persistence of traditional hotels in Puerto Rico. We conclude that traditional tourism persists by adapting new elements and conservation of traditional treatment. This work contributes to the identification of elements of fit between modern and traditional hotels and provides important knowledge to Puerto Rico hotel operators Classification-JEL: L83, O13, F18, A13 Keywords: Permanency, Indicators, Tourism Enterprises Journal:Revista Global de Negocios Pages: 89-98 Volume: 4 Issue: 1 Year: 2016 File-URL: http://www.theibfr2.com/RePEc/ibf/rgnego/rgn-v4n1-2016/RGN-V4N1-2016-7.pdf File-Format: Application/pdf Handle: RePEc:ibf:rgnego:v:4:y:2016:i:1:p:89-98 Template-Type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: Edith Melendez Lopez Author-Name: Felipe Jimenez Zavala Author-Name: David Cortes Guerrero Author-Name: Sandra Lilia Jasso Ibarra Title: ANALYSIS OF IMPACT ON THE APPLICATION OF THE METHODOLOGY OF LEAN MANUFACTURING SMEs IN THE REGION CENTRE OF COAHUILA, ANALISIS DEL IMPACTO EN LA APLICACION DE LAS METODOLOGIAS DE LA MANUFACTURA ESBELTA EN LAS PYMES DE LA REGION CENTRODE COAHUILA Abstract: Today's globalized world requires continuous improvement and a systematic approach to quality.
