The goal is to evaluate loyalty in determining service quality elements that most impact word of mouth communication. Through regression analysis and based on the five SERVQUAL constructs we found that empathy, reliability, and assurance are the most influential factor. Tangibles and responsiveness proved to be less significant. Results show that service quality impacts both loyalty and word of mouth directly. A loyal customer spreads positive word of mouth in the restaurant context. Results show that by manipulating geographic variables of first and second nature, costs of trade significantly affect the size of the population of its 59 major cities. An increase in trade liberalization reduces the population size. Lower domestic costs lead to greater concentration of citizens in major cities. To obtain a competitive advantage, companies design manufacturing systems that, aside from producing high quality and low cost products, also allow quick response to market changes and consumers' needs. This study addresses the relationship between perceived competitive advantage and operative reconfiguration capacity. Indicators with more development potential for such capacity are shown. Data were taken from 15 big manufacturing companies in the central region of Coahuila state. The relationship between these variables is analyzed by obtaining information from 343 mid to high level employees. Statistical analysis confirms that reconfiguration capacity is directly related, positively and significantly with the perceived competitive advantage in the companies Classification-JEL: C38, L29, M10 Keywords: Competitive Advantage, Reconfiguration Capacity Journal: Revista Internacional Administracion & Finanzas Pages: 53-62 Volume: 11 Issue: 1 Year: 2018 File-URL: http://www.theibfr2.com/RePEc/ibf/riafin/riaf-v11n1-2018/RIAF-V11N1-2018-5.pdf File-Format: Application/pdf Handle: RePEc:ibf:riafin:v:11:y:2018:i:1:p:53-62 Template-Type: ReDIF-Article 1.0 Author-Name: Karla Viviana Benavides Espinosa Author-Name: Betzabe del Rosario Maldonado Mera Author-Name: Jose Javier Buenano Cabrera Title: FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ACCEPTANCE OF A COUPO IN UNIVERSITIES OF THE BACCELLERS OF MANABI FACTORES ASOCIADOS A LA ACEPTACION DE UN CUPO EN LAS UNIVERSIDADES DE LOS BACHILLERES DE MANABI Abstract: The article identifies factors that predict individual, experiential and contextual variables related to the acceptance of a quota in the careers of public universities of Ecuador.
