The goal was to counteract inflationary effects through the application of an unorthodox monetary policy. This research compares these strategies with the results of previous research, which studies inflation in Mexico over a period of fifty years (1948-2004). An econometric model of vector autoregression (VAR) is used. Six explanatory variables and two exogenous variables are used in the analysis to capture the structural breaks in 1973 and 1982, by increasing oil prices and the debt crisis. The study seeks to determine if customers relate the name changes with quality changes. This research analyzes the buyer perception of the name change to Almacenes Vivero and Almacenes Ley from Almacenes Exito. The results shows that even though both stores are in the same geographical area, the impact of these name changes are considerable. The measuring instrument used was the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI, 1986). The questionnaire has 22 items with a likert scale of 6 options that go from ¨never to daily¨ to explain how often the employee perceives any of the situations described in the items. Factor analysis of the 22 items shows that the main variables of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment at work are grouped. Findings show that employees burnout syndrome has made them lower their productivity and performance and some of them show physical signs of sickness that cause absenteeism and apathy towards their job. JUAREZ Abstract: Cutting edge technology can be found within plastics manufacturing operations. It is also common to observe relatively ineffective advances, which at the same time cause the technology being used to be less effective than expected. This causes administrative and planning problems. The objective of this article is to analyze the main factors and actual variables, which assist in productivity optimization of functional and operational management of tooling utilized in plastic injection machines, such as assigned molds and dies and developing an operational and practical route for planning and logistics. We state the problem, as well as key questions, and set out the objectives. Afterward, we present an analysis of the theoretical information in order to determine the factors and variables to be considered in a better explained proposal. Additionally, key recommendations and their rationale are provided for future research.
