Its goal is to present an analysis of the validity and reliability of a measurement instrument, conformed by 23 items that evaluate diversity management of an aerospace industry. We examine five variables: Orientation and training, Inviting organizational atmospheres, Interaction within diverging groups, Diversity acceptance, and Diversity attributes. The methodological strategies were planned in four stages. In the first stage we accomplished the construct’s theoretical approach and the instrument’s measurement design; in the second stage an expert panel carried out the evaluation of content; in the third stage the validity of the construct was reached through an exploratory factor analysis; in the fourth one, internal consistency was analyzed through Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The instrument was applied to a sample of 416 employees, obtaining a reliability coefficient of 0.900. The analysis did not require elimination of any items. Twentythree items were found valid and reliable to test diversity management. This article analyzes the relationship between firm and entrepreneur factors and the economic success developed by small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the central region of the state of Coahuila, Mexico. The methodology consisted of obtaining quantitative information and applying a structured questionnaire to a sample of 130 SMEs in the region. The data information obtained was processed with SPSS statistical software using Cross Tabs and Spearman correlation coefficient. Among the most important results is the fact that entrepreneur factors have no association with economic success, except in the education level obtained. It was found that, at a 95% confidence level, there is a positive relationship of 0.222 with growth in investment in machinery and equipment. The analysis also shows that most company features are associated with the economic success of small businesses. VALUACION DE BLACK-SCHOLES VS SIMULACIONES DE MONTECARLO Abstract: Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) is an important technique used in finance to value European options in general and hedging strategies of exchange rate risk in particular. However, Hull (2012) indicates that this technique demands much computing time to achieve a high level of precision. In spite of the above, this article shows that the standard errors associated with MCS can be significantly reduced by increasing the number of random walks. Additionally, it is shown that the valuation of zero-cost collar strategy followed by a Chilean exporter, who seeks monthly coverage against foreign exchange risk, converges at the same price either using the Black-Scholes model or MCS when the number of random walks increases through simulations. Finally, the effectiveness of zero-cost collar strategy is evaluated. This strategy shows clear economic benefits associated of being implemented in periods of appreciation of the Chilean peso against the U.S. dollar. The research is conducted in three phases: In the first size portfolios are structured, the second is an analysis of profitability and portfolio risk and finally develop a temporary serial contrast in the context of the CAPM. Results show that in general the size effect studied by Banz (1981) does not present in the major stock markets of Latin America, however evidence for the presence of reverse effect in Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Colombia. Hyan, Grable and Bagwell (2003) find that 70 percent of undergraduates have credit cards. On the one hand, Sallie Mae (2008) finds that only 17 percent of them pay in full their credit card balance on a monthly basis. On the other hand, Sallie Mae (2006) finds that 60 percent indicate they know the balance on their credit card. These findings helped the United States government justify approval of the Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009 that requires parents’ approval and involvement when minors under 21 years apply for a credit card. We used a questionnaire to survey 255 undergraduate students about attitudes, use and management of credit cards. Results suggest that most undergraduates use and manage their credit cards adequately but, 60 percent indicate that when they are unable to pay their debt, others do it for them. Using a cross sectional, descriptive, correlational, with a sample of 50 census workers from a tourism hotel, yields a predictive model that can be used by organizations to maximize their productivity. We use variables in levels as follows: institutional support, security, the post integration, satisfaction, well-made, personal development and leisure management. The correlation result of the independent and dependent variables confirms an almost perfect association, meaning they are closely related and respond. Thus, the proposed predictive model is suitable for decision-making in these organizations. Recent decades have involved important studies on violence and to a lesser extent referrals to economic empowerment which are of great interest regionally to higher spheres. This research determines factors that most influence female entrepreneurship, contrasting the profile of women entrepreneurs in the cities of Torreon and Saltillo, in Coahuila, Mexico. The research is motivated by growth and participation of women in the working world. The dimensions analyzed were: demographic Emprendedoras-caracteristicas, environment and organization, indicators or economic performance and indicators and motivational aspects and social setting. The empirical inquiry encompassed a sample of 66 and 29 MSMES in Torreon and Saltillo, Coahuila, respectively. The comparison of women entrepreneur profiles in both cities show evidence of a predominance of conjunction of reasons such as the need and opportunity to engage in a business, higher concentration in the trade and services sectors, and a large number of women having economic dependents. However, in Saltillo average age and university studies (40 years and 48%) is lower than in Torreón (47 years and 68%). The evidence shows that women's work is crucial in the development of families. Through a self-administered questionnaire, we examine the views of business domiciled in six municipalities in the state Chiapas, Mexico. We characterize professional market managers and accountants, and develop indicators to use in curriculum updating processes. The results show that over 80% of organizations surveyed have less than 100 employees, mostly engaged in trade and often hire managers (21%), accountants (26%) or both (48%). Basic knowledge managers must relate to personnel management, administrative and marketing. They must be skilled in: willingness to constantly learn, make decisions and package handling. Meanwhile, accountants should know: financial accounting, fiscal and administrative processes. They should be skilled in: software management, making decisions and finding solutions. In both, the ideal age to hire is between 25 and 30 years must pass an interview and a knowledge test, with work experience of 1-3 years, to offer salaries that are between 3 and 5 times the SMG. Local Governments must exercise competences with limitations only enshrined in the Mexican Federal Constitution. The real situation is very different. There are many different regulations in each state regarding the powers of local Governments. This regulation sometimes does not recognize the autonomy of the Local Governments enshrined by the Federal Constitution. The aim of this paper is to show reasons a local legislator interpreted in a special way the article 115 of the Mexican constitution. This interpretation avoids the creation of municipal administrative courts. We conclude there is necessity to reform current legislation to allow municipal administrative courts in Tamaulipas. With these courts, strengthening of the local Governments in México, particularly in Tamaulipas, is possible. Furthermore, it could comply with the constitutional reform of article 115. The purpose of this effort was identify variables that have influence in the management success of this education modality. A documental and field research was done to identify the state of art of de Continue Education Management in the Institutions identified. Then, the instruments were applied to 22 Institutions using and multivariate techniques were applied. Cronbach’s Alpha and the Pearson Test were applied. Results highlight correlations that exist between the actions of competition analysis, marketing tools, the existence of infrastructure to optimize resources, with the existence of a strategic plan. In the same way, we identified high correlations between Continuing Education Centers with administrative manuals and organizational structure, with an information system for user service. We provide a proposal for effective management in Continuing Education.
